Nursery Class Saint
Our Class Saint is Saint Nicholas.
The Feast Day of Saint Nicholas is on the 6th of December.
Saint Nicholas is the Patron Saint of children.
We celebrated the Saint Nicholas Day by having a special Craft Day with our parents and family members.
We drank hot chocolate and ate cookies while we heard stories about Saint Nicholas.
Lunch Time
Please think very carefully about the contents of your child’s lunchbox and ensure that it is filled with healthy options. Children should not bring sweets or chocolate in their packed lunch. Yoghurts and fruit are preferable alternatives. Please ensure that grapes and cherry tomatoes are cut in half. We remind you that St.Mary's is a 'nut free' school, so please do not include any items that contain nuts.
General
Please make sure that ALL uniform, coats, shoes, pumps and other personal belongings are clearly labelled with your child’s name
Please make sure that long hair is tied up in ponytails or plaits and not left loose or in a half-up/half-down style. This is safer for all children as they play closely together and will help stop the spread of head lice.
