Lunch Time

Please think very carefully about the contents of your child’s lunchbox and ensure that it is filled with healthy options. Children should not bring sweets or chocolate in their packed lunch. Yoghurts and fruit are preferable alternatives.

  • Please make sure that ALL uniform, coats, shoes, pumps and other personal belongings are clearly labelled with your child’s name

  • Please make sure that long hair is tied up in ponytails or plaits and not left loose or in a half-up/half-down style. This is safer for all children as they play closely together and will help stop the spread of head lice.

‘Star’ Bear

“Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star,

That is what we think you are.”

Welly Wednesdays

Our ‘Outdoor Learning’ sessions will begin following the October half term. Each Wednesday, we take our teaching and learning outdoors for the Nursery sessions. We provide waterproof rain-suits and ask that children attend Nursery wearing comfortable play clothes and a pair of wellies.

Nursery Prayers

Nursery Class Saint

Our Class Saint is Saint Nicholas.

The Feast Day of Saint Nicholas is on the 6th of December.

Saint Nicholas is the Patron Saint of children.

We celebrated the Saint Nicholas Day by having a special Craft Day with our parents and family members.

We drank hot chocolate and ate cookies while we heard stories about Saint Nicholas.
